Well done to the U-13 Letterkenny Gaels hurlers who won the Derry Championship at the weekend. A Semi Final win against Coleraine on Sunday set the Gaels up for the Final against host Club Ballerin.

The Final was a tough game but the persistence and perseverance of the Gaels men eventually paid off and they went on to win on a scoreline of 1-05 to 1-01 This is the end of the season for the hurling year. Two back to back wins for the Gaels Hurlers in this Derry Competition 2017 and 2018.

The lads represented the county at the Hurling Feile 2018 and won the A Shield u14 County Final. Thanks to all the kids and parents for their support and hopefully after a bit of a rest we will have a good year in 2019

Underage hurling training continues every Thursday evening at the pitch from 6.30 to 7.30 for U-6 to U-12. Hurls and helmets may be borrowed for new members.

All welcome.
