St Eunan's Letterkenny club notes

The Senior Hurlers were beaten by reigning champions Setanta in the Championship semi-final on Saturday evening. Fielding a very young team they put it up to the men from the Cross but couldn't get the rub of the green on the day, going down by 2-14 to 0-15.

The Junior Men claimed the Div. 5 League title on Sunday with a game to spare with a good win away to N. Conaill on a score of 6-12 to 1-11. They have one game left v MacCumhaills before Championship.

The Seniors and Reserves had no games last week and they travel to Cloughaneely for League games this Sunday with 1:30pm (Reserves) and 3pm (Seniors) throw-ins.

The Minor Camógs host Four Masters on Monday (13th) night in their county championship semi-final, throw-in at 7pm.

The Minor Boys Football Div. 1 team have no game this week but will await the outcome of Monday (13th) nights Championship q-final draw after they won their group comfortably. The Div. 3 team travel to Convoy on Wednesday evening for a Northern Board League game and they have reached the Div. 3 championship semi-finals.

The U16 hurlers continued their good form last week with a big win over Letterkenny Gaels and they travel to Setanta this Thursday evening.

The U16 Girls Footballers County Final v Termon was postponed and will take place in two weeks' time with full details of day, time and venue tbc.

The U15 Boys Footballers competed in the County Óg Sport Gael Finals on Saturday in Killygordon and despite being down three players from their Northern Board win a week earlier due to injury and holidays, they battled all the way to the final before losing out to Gaoth Dobhair who they'd beaten in the Northern final the week before.

The U14 Boys Footballers began their Championship group games on Friday night. Under the new format, our A team are competing in Div. 2A and they opened with a win over N. Columba on a score of 3-12 to 3-08 and they travel to Carndonagh this Friday. The Dev. team (U13's) hosted N. Bríd / Pettigo in Div. 3 on Sunday and were beaten, they travel to Letterkenny Gaels this Friday evening.

The U12 hurlers had another good away win last Thursday, defeating Letterkenny Gaels and they host Setanta this Thursday evening.

Northern Board U9 & U11 Football gets underway this Saturday with our teams hosting Fanad Gaels from 11am.

The Circle K (Topaz) Cash for Clubs is ending on Sunday (August 19th) so be sure when topping up this week you nominate St. Eunan's for your points in a final push.

The Friday evening Hurling & Camogie Academy returns this Friday evening (17th) after a two-week break. New players always welcome.

The Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Football Academy continues at 11am each week and new members are always welcome.
