Mick McGrath has been elected Donegal's new county board chairman at tonight's annual convention.
The former high-ranking referee, who hails from Ballyshannon, succeeds Sean Dunnion after the Four Masters clubman vacated his post at the end of a five-year term in the Tir Chonaill County.
Mr McGrath was elected unopposed while Frank Doherty was returned to his post as vice-chairman.
Six other candidates for the county's chair, including ex-Tanaiste Mary Coughlan, pulled of the race prior to tonight's convention in Ballybofey.
