Presentation Evening: There will be a Presentation Evening in the Glen Centre on Saturday 1st April at 7.45pm. Various adult and team awards will be presented (note that this evening is not for underage). All club coaches will be presented with their new half zips tops which were generously sponsored by Kelly's Eurospar. All club coaches are urged to be in attendance. Music and dance will follow the presentation!
Irish Language Collection: Glen's annual Irish Language collection will take place after all masses next weekend (Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April). The proceeds will go towards sponsoring local children who attached the Gaeltacht.
Paul McGirr All-Ireland Final: Hard luck to St Patrick's Maghera who contested the All-Ireland Final against the Kerry Champions PS Chorcha Dhuibhne on Saturday. Glen were represented by Alex Doherty, Ethan Doherty, Eunan Mulholland, Cahair Glass, John Convery, Conleth McGuckian, Caolan Convery and Seamus McKenna and unfortunately went down by the narrowest of margins after extra time in what was an absorbing contest. Disappointing result but this lads will have many happier days ahead.
Fundamental Training: FUNdamentals for Under 6 Boys & Girls continues on Wednesday's in the Glen Centre at 6.45pm. Parents must stay. Children must be in their final year of nursery, P1 & P2. All new children very welcome!
Registration: The deadline for completing registration is Friday 31st March. No one can play without registering beforehand as they won't be insured in case of injury! Membership forms and fees can now be given to the various underage managements and can also be paid online from the club website. Click on the 'membership' tab on the home page. Fees have been updated to reflect the three codes and for dual players (ladies football and camogie) …….. Underage footballers (boys) and Male student footballers (full time students only) - £5; Adult footballers (applicable to those not in Club Glen) - £20: Non playing Adult members (applicable to those not Club Glen) - £20; Underage & Student Camogie and Lady Footballers (includes dual players) - £15; Adult Camogie & Lady Footballers (includes dual players and applicable to those not in Club Glen) - £30.
Annual Cake Sale & Coffee Morning: The annual Camogie Cake sale and Coffee morning will be held in the Glen Centre on Saturday 15th April. More details to follow. Save the date!
AccessNI: All adults involved in any way within the club must ensure that they have achieved AccessNI clearance. No one can be involved in coaching or committees without having successfully completed the vetting procedure. Everyone must go on line and complete the application. All details including login instructions are in the AccessNI document which can be downloaded from the club website (club documents section).

Watty's 'Next of Kin' go Country: Our latest fundraiser is now up and running! 9 couples who are all related will take part in a Country Dancing Extravaganza on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th May (note revised dates) in the Centre, with the format similar to our previous Strictly Dancing fundraiser. Promises to be a weekend to remember! The 8 couples are: Josephine & Conor Gallagher, Steady McGuckian & Ciara Mulholland, John & Bernie McGilligan, Bernard & Breena O'Loughlin, Declan Brolly & Nuala Convery, Mary McKenna & Ronan Moohan, Claire & Joe Lagan and Ciaran & Eleanor McCloy.
BBL: BBL (Building Better Lives) has returned to Watty Graham's. Everyone regardless of their level of fitness is encouraged to take part. £30 for 10 weeks and with 3 sessions a week of activity, talks and tips to help you get fitter, healthier and generally look and feel better and culminating with a final day excursion. Sessions take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 6.30pn at Glen pitch.
