Derry manager Rory Gallagher has revealed that they are very much focused on one game at a time and not promotion from FL3.

This weekend, they face a huge test against Louth and Derry go into the game on the back of a win over Tipperary, but for Gallagher and the players, they are just focusing on the next game.

“From speaking to the boys, they are not even thinking about tier two at this moment in time,” Gallagher states in the Derry Journal.

“They just want to go out and play better for Derry and build something. Naturally, none of us want to be in tier two but that’s the hand we have been dealt.

“We are in Division Three with its relative pressures and all but right now we just want to concentrate on Louth. We want to hopefully get two points against Louth and then go to Cork for a big battle but we have to look after our business against Louth first.”
