Derry SHC: Slaughtneil aim for seventh heaven

Derry kingpins Slaughtneil are bidding for their seventh consecutive SHC title this weekend.

Standing in their way of such a remarkable achievement are Kevin Lynch’s who they meet in Owenbeg on Sunday afternoon.

Slaughtneil’s run started in 2013 when they defeated Ballinascreen in the county final and they have dominated the club scene ever since.

Kevin Lynch’s have been their closest rivals in recent years, but the Emmets will be favourites to win another title.
