Longford V Meath - 5 Like(s)

Replying To MesAmis:  "It'd be great to see an upset. To see one of the minnows have their day in the sun and give a little joy to the long suffering fans but I just can't see it I'm afraid. Longford by 2."
I know what you mean. That said, neither will fancy getting a drubbing from Wicklow in the next round.

Best score from a Westmeath player - 2 Like(s)
Westmeath beating mayo in 2001 was a great day also. Dessie scored a sideline ball from an impossible angle in extra time.

How can the rossies beat the Mayo senior team if your senior team can't beat their junior team?

Castlebar players forced to jump wall to get to pitch - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Toney:  "What if one of the Castlebar Mitchels players got injured jumping the wall? Disgrace that this went on at a provincial final."
What happened if the wall collapsed and West galway and east galway could finally settle their differences and become one united county.

Replying To janesboro:  "from NFL -american football is called football - but bar the goalkickers the foot never goes near the ball - a touchdown - but you dont have to touch the ball down the americans referring to championship winners as world champions or a fella criticising a ref when the commentator has seen numerous replays or Two mins to go game is level and commentator says "the next score is crucial" . ..................... you dont say !!!"
To add to your "the next score is crucial" when Cyril Farrell used to say "Game on Ger". You don't need to remind us that game is in fact on Ger.

'Kildare win in forgettable affair' - It's something we've become accustomed to reading for Kildare matches lately.

The state of the game - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Soma:  "What happens if you break the code of conduct? And with all due respect, the situation at your club is not the fault of the GAA or Croke Park, the blame lies with those making the decisions in your club - if it is like most junior clubs then the main decision makers are the players."
If it's a rural club then surely they'll want to have you on their side. 10 men have left the panel? 5 out injured already? Surely the club must be stretched for numbers at this stage. Best of luck in the season ahead.
