At CFCW vs Ballinagore game and I must say the crowd got their money worth in terms of entertainment! Not looking good for Finea after this loss, despite probably deserving to win the game.
The Bunbrosna vs Ballymore was a much different game to the previous with both teams aiming high. Tempers often boiled over, but the quality of football was at quite a high standard. Despite kicking a number of poor wides, bun managed to win out by 5 points and I reckon they will be right in the mix come october.

Was at Shandonagh and Malachys Games. Shan looked impressive while Malachys looked way off the pace.

Bunbrosna looking good on other side. Tang beat MTpass Easily in the end.
Group 2 is wide open.

Was at the Cfcw vs Balingore game and I have to say for a neutral I though Jim Rock absolutely robbed Finea!! Some horrendous calls right throughout the game..
Bun are a team that have been together many years and on Saturday they proved they can grind out results while not playing overly well, sign of a great team..

Shan goin well. Group one is still wide open who will get the second semi final spot. Prob bewteen mal , rbridge and tang. Miltownpass and tubberclair have been disappointing so far
Bun are flying in group two. After not winning a championship game last yr have really turn things around. Think moate might get the other qf spot even thou they leak a lot of goals. They have a young team. Ballymore and miltown not out of it either.
Ctfcw and balinagore will play each other in relegation playoff. Both really struggling.

Is it not the bottom side from each group in the playoff ? Shandonagh, The Bridge, Malachy's, Tang, Milltownpass, Tubberclair is what the other group is made up of, currently Tubberclair are bottom. Looks like Shandonagh are going well and will top the group, the way Intermediate is you just dont know what way results will go, very hard to call who will finish bottom especially in this group. Early days i suppose.

Ball put down their marker last night with multy and the rest of the junior teams , Malachys scoring 5 scores against the Bridge all from frees won't cut the mustard in winning an intermediate

5 outta 6 and Tubberclaire really should have beat Tang. Think its between Shandonagh and St.Marys at this stage with maybe Bun springing a surprise

Shandonagh's keeper was the difference, Milltownpass could have snuck it if they converted one of their goal chances but Shandonagh's bench was strong also.

Disappointing championship so far from Mpass after a strong league showing.

There is a world of difference between league and championship

This week's fixtures:

Rochfortbridge vs Shandonagh- This is the top 2 teams facing off against each other in the unusual C'ship surroundings of Killucan. I anticipate that both will reach the semi-finals. Draw game

Miltownpass vs Tubberclair - Miltownpass to take this one and get a win on the board. Both teams will be disappointed with their showings in this group so far.

Tang vs St. Malachy's- There's very little between these two teams. I think there's more in Malachy's than what they have shown so far this year and fancy them to take the win.

Miltown vs Bunbrosna- Miltown seem to be a bit of a tricky team for Bunbrosna and this could be a tough one for a Bunbrosna team that have shown well in the c'ship so far. They will win but need to use every bit of experience available to them to do so.

Moate vs CFCW- Moate should pick up 2 points here against a CFCW team that are facing the possibility of a relegation play-off.

Ballinagore vs Ballymore- Having seen both teams in action, it will be interesting to see how Ballymore curb the potent Ballinagore full-forward line. Ballymore should win this, only if they manage to limit Ballinagore up front.

Bunbrosna vs Ballinagore- Again Bunbrosna will have to work hard to keep Ballinagore's scores down. Bunbrosna have conceded fewer points against than any other team in senior, intermediate or junior and should set themselves up for a quarter-final spot from this game.

CFCW vs Miltown- Depending on how results go, this could be a dress rehearsal for a relegation play-off. Don't be surprised to see sparks fly here. Miltown to take this one.

Ballymore vs Moate- This will be the tie of the round for this group in a potential 4 pointer. Sunday evening at 5.30pm in Rochfortbridge will be the place to be.......it's anyone's game

Rochfortbridge vs Tang - Tang to take this. They have a strong spine that will see them through this on a tight Tubberclair pitch.

St Malachy's vs Miltownpass- Another tight one.....draw game

Shandonagh vs Tubberclair- With Tubberclair left with nothing to play for, momentum will see Shandonagh take this one..

This week's fixtures:

St.Marys vs Shandonagh - Should be a tight affair, Marys by 1/2
Miltownpass vs Tubberclair - The Pass to win by a few
Tang vs St. Malachy's - Another tight game, Draw
Miltown vs Bunbrosna - Bun to continue their winning running easily
Moate vs CFCW - Moate to bounce back with a win
Ballinagore vs Ballymore - Think this could go wither way but Ballymore to edge it
