Kieran Donaghy has donated his fee from his appearance on Sky Sports last weekend to a toddler who is battling cancer.

The Kerry great visited 21-month-old Chloe Jenkins in her Cork home prior to his TV appearance for last Saturday's All-Ireland SFC final replay between Dublin and Kerry. The purpose of his visit was to meet Chloe and her parents, and to make a video in which he appeals to the public to support Chloe's GoFundMe page.

The little girl is battling Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of child cancer.

Chloe's mother Deborah told Tralee Today: “It was just so wonderful of Kieran to take the time to come and visit Chloe and to spend time with her. Chloe took to Kieran right away and within minutes she was showing him her toys.

"He threw himself down on the floor beside her & just made such a fuss of her – she absolutely loved seeing him and it gave us such a lift to have him here. I just want to thank him for everything he has done.”
