Tipperary’s Noel McGrath says big-game nerves won’t be a problem for him when he lines-out against Kilkenny at Croke Park tomorrow afternoon.

McGrath will be playing in his seventh All-Ireland SHC final for the Premier County and says only one thing will be on his mind once the sliotar is thrown in at headquarters.

"If you prepare right and get everything right I think you'll be fine on the day,” McGrath told Sky Sports.

"The fact that it's an All-Ireland final doesn't matter once 3:30 comes on Sunday because all you're thinking about is going after the ball.

"You're trying to get it if you don't have it and if you get it you're trying to do something with it. That's just all that really counts."

On Tipp being written off in certain quarters after their Munster final loss to Limerick, McGrath added: "I don't think you're ever as good as people say and you're probably never as bad as people say either.

"Once you're happy with yourself that you're preparing right and giving it everything you can, then what people say outside I don't think really matters."
