Football took centre stage this afternoon as we brought you live coverage from four games in the provincial championships.

We had action in Leinster, Ulster and Connacht this evening as we head into quarter-final and semi-final territory.

The results of these games not only decided who progresses in their respective championship games but we also have a clearer picture of who is in the draw for the first round of the qualifiers on Monday morning.

If the bookies are anything to go by, we were in for four one-sided games such are the four favourites so hotly priced!
