Tourlestrane 1-12

Tubbercurry 0-8

A 35th minute goal from corner back Cian Surlis proved decisive as Tourlestrane completed a three-in-a-row of Sligo SFC titles at the expense of neighbours Tubbercurry.

With Markievicz Park unavaible due to pitch works, Quigabar in the west of the county provided the novel setting for the decider which saw the charges of Eamonn O'Hara and Gerry McGowan repeat their 2013 final victory over their south county rivals.

Points from Cian Gilmartin and Jason Perry had Tubbercurry 0-2 to 0-1 in front after seven minutes, but the holders gradually took control and went on to lead by 0-8 to 0-4 at half-time thanks to scores from Cathal Henry, goalkeeper Colm McGee and Liam Gaughan.

Substitute Darragh Kilcoyne reduced the deficit on the restart before Surlis' strike put Tourlestrane 1-8 to 0-5 ahead. Surlis and Liam Gaughan tagged on points as the champions ran out comfortable winners in the end.
