Carlow’s Netwatch Cullen Park has been closed for the next few weeks.

The reason for this is that essential maintenance is being carried out on the pitch and it needs to be closed for a few weeks for the work to take effect.

This means that the grounds are unable to host Leinster minor hurling and football championship games at this time.

IT Carlow is being used as an alternative venue, but the main grounds are expected to be ready for the Leinster SFC opener between Wicklow and Kildare on Saturday, May 11th.

Carlow’s first game back at Netwatch Cullen Park is a Leinster SHC clash against neighbours Kilkenny on Sunday, May 19th.
