Martin O’Reilly has become the latest player to depart the Donegal senior football squad ahead of the Tir Chonaill men’s 2019 All-Ireland SFC campaign.

It was revealed last weekend that Odhran MacNiallais would no longer be involved for this season while St Michael’s pair Martin McElhinney and Mark Anthony McGinley also left the panel last month.

BBC Northern Ireland now reports that O’Reilly has opted out for the season’s remainder due to a limited amount of game time afforded to him by manager Declan Bonner.

The Sean MacCumhaills clubman hasn’t started for the Ulster champions since their second round victory over Meath in the National League back in February.
