Replying To royaldunne:  "Not a bad looking team at all. Conlon could do very well in the corner. Still have dardis, biggy (who needs to seriously up his fitness levels). Campion, Devine really thought lynch did exceptional when he came on last day and I would not be adverse to him starting"
This is a revolutionary day on hoganstand Meath forum. Royaldunne for the first time has given Biggy a bit of criticism.

It is thought Biggy is not happy with the criticism from his biggest fan and has reached out to arrange a meeting in the Greville Arms Hotel on Thursday to thrash this out.

Graham is well aware that his fitness is well off the pace. It is caused by a injury he picked up preseason, and has left him unable to do certain drills,

Biggys a 20/25 minute man max at inter county championship level these days .well he could probably hold his own from the start v carlow but once we go up the levels he won't. Not a criticism just a fact.. He's got a hell of a lot of miles in those Legs since 07 and it's showing. He's been an unreal servant for meath over the past 12 years but a 20/25 impact sub is definitely the only role for him now.

Getting there early is the key, there a residents committee across the road in front of the new shops that do parking, ideal if you there in good time

What don't you understand?? He'll 100% start, pay no heed to any teams picked up here without him included

Replying To meathalltheway:  "The Offaly game reminded me a lot of the game last year against longford. The big difference being that we lost that game and then had to play Tyrone next but look at how brilliant we played against Tyrone. We definitely played way below what we're capable of and I think we're going to show that against Carlow. Meath to win by 6+"
When we play on the front foot we are dangerous can we do it for 70 mins at the moment not so sure. But to go out like we did again Offaly same as Longford game last year is idiotic.
Over and back across the field no penetration with our ball carriers keogan McEntee reilly etc.why did we do this again it's mind numbing stuff to be honest.
We are a county really at minute that needs to just throw off the shackles and let our players play football we have dub 1 football so we are in bonus territory. Carlow will set up defensively so we need plan for this depth in attack would b a start.

Carlow will set up defensively as usual. Having said that they scored 4-31 in the 2 wins over Louth and Kildare last year!
Not bad for a defensive team!!

While I imagine it hasn't helped Carlow to have the bans upheld I'm pretty sure they'll have prepared for such circumstances so we still have to go out there and do the hard work on the day. Even if we don't play well I think we have the strength in depth to pull us through again. Won't be easy though.

Very impressive scoring, we certainly could not afford to conceed two goals and hope to win. Meath need a huge improvement on our last outing and hopefully that run-out will stand to us Saturday.

I thought all year our backs where great as unit. With Ronan ryan dropped are we little weaker for it. What is the story there McCoy played well last day but his man number 10 was let run of the park and did a lot of damage now as a back you play well and your man plays well but he's a forward unless your coming up with scores your creating a weak link there. Ryan b more tighter marker. A tough call but worth considering with the goal threat carlow create.
