A loving and caring lady, Breda along with her husband Joe, who is an Honorary President of Castletown GFC, was a regular at Simonstown club games down through the years. Their son Sean, is well-known in Meath GAA coaching circles and has managed the Simonstown senior team, also guiding the club to their only under 21 football success. Another son Kevin, like Sean, represented the Castletown club with distinction on the playing field and was in charge of Glen Emmetts who won the Louth JFC in the season gone. Sean, an All-Ireland minor medal winner with Dublin in 1984, was manager of the Donaghmore/Ashbourne senior football team in 2017 and is a former boss of the Meath U-21 and junior football teams. His son, Shane, won Meath SFC medals with Simonstown in the past two years.
