Paddy was not involved directly with the club. However his son Edward played as a wing back on Nobber's Intermediate Championship winning team of 1980 and throughout Nobber's great years in the top flight of Meath Club Football. His other son, Eugene won a Junior B Championship medal with Nobber's second string in 1988 and is the current Lord Mayor of Nobber having out-fundraised all other candidates to develop the club's new sand based, floodlit underage/training pitch which officially opened this year and dedicated to the memory of all deceased members of the club.
