Brenda, aged 93, was the last surviving member of the family of Ambrose Steen and May Barry of Navan. Her father was founder of Ambrose Steen Solicitors in Navan. She married Thomas K Clinton in 1948 and moved to Walterstown, Moynalty and was the brother-in-law of the well known politician Mark Clinton who played senior football for Meath back in the 1930's. One of Brenda's four sons, Anthony, was a regular on the Moynalty football team for many years.
