St. Ultans Auction Night in aid of Injured Player's Fund

October 18, 2019

St Ultans have been very unlucky this year with injuries

St Ultans GFC will be hosting a charity Auction Night in the Silver Tankard on Saturday the 16th of November. All monies raised will go directly into an injured players fund. The fun will start from 8pm with Johnny Slats playing music on the night.

St Ultans Secretary David Ball said, “We’ve been very unlucky this year with injuries. In one particular instance a player has been badly affected and the club would like to provide him with as much help and support as possible. The players and club committee have really got behind this and we’re hoping people in Bohermeen/Martry and the surrounding areas will be generous.”

There’ll be sporting memorabilia, hampers, furniture and even tradesmen time auctioned on the night. Plus, spot-prizes and special guests.

Earlier on the same day players, members and some St Ultans Ladies players will be doing a sponsored run from Sean Newman Park to Croke Park to help raise funds as well. It’s a 60km route which will take approximately 8 hours.
