From Ballsgrove and late of Mell, Drogheda, Jimmy Maguire - who passed away on Wednesday, January 11th, 2017, aged 86 - was a founder member and honorary president of Drogheda United FC soccer club. He also played gaelic football with Larks in Mell as a young man.
