Paul Murphy believes Donegal will provide high-flying Kerry with a huge test in Sunday’s Super 8s clash at Croke Park.

The Munster and Ulster champions each opened their expanded quarter-final programmes with opening-round victories (against Mayo and Meath respectively) last weekend and their meeting on Jones Road could be one of the games of the summer:

“It will be a huge test because they are playing very well,” ultra-versatile Kingdom ace Murphy told RTE. “Even going back to the league, they got momentum in Division Two and carried that winning form into Ulster.

“They won by nine against Meath, they can transition from defence to attack very well and they all know their roles very well. It’s a huge ask for us going up to Croke Park, but a great challenge for us at the same time.”
