President Michael D Higgins has congratulated Mullinalaghta on their Leinster club SFC success
President Michael D Higgins has written to Mullinalaghta St Columba’s GAA after the club’s Leinster championship success.
Mr Higgins congratulated Mickey Graham and his team on their historic two-point victory over Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin this past Sunday in Tullamore.
The President said the Longford side’s “tenacity and steely performance will give great heart to communities up and down the country and encouragement that smaller clubs can compete and win at the highest levels."
