Three-in-a-row chasing Na Piarsaigh will face Patrickswell in the Limerick SHC final on October 6 following their respective semi-final wins over Kilmallock and Doon at the LIT Gaelic Grounds this afternoon.

Despite missing Shane Dowling and Peter Casey from their attack, and the 35th minute dismissal of centre back Ronan Lynch on a straight red card, the champions came from three points down at half-time to win on a 0-23 to 0-18 scoreline.

Kilmallock recovered from a slow start to draw level before late points from Gavin O'Mahony, Micheal Houlihan and Jake Mulcahy sent them into the break with a 0-12 to 0-9 lead. But despite their numerical advantage for most of the second half - Kilmallock also finished with 14 men after Robbie Hanley received a second yellow card near the end - they were overpowered by an impressive Na Piarsaigh side for whom Adrian Breen, Alan Dempsey and William Henn led the scoring charge.

In the other semi-final, goals in either half from Kevin O'Brien and Jason Gillane helped Patrickswell to a 2-14 to 0-15 victory over Doon.
