Limerick forward Graeme Mulcahy insists that they will not get carried away by their win over Tipperary.

The Shannonsiders made the ideal start to the Munster SHC round robin series when defeating a highly fancied Tipp side last Sunday afternoon. Limerick's performance made many sit up and take notice and already there is talk of winning the provincial title.

That is something that Mulcahy dismisses and the experienced forward is adamant that they have a lot of work to do in order to be even considered contenders.

"It's only the first game of four so we have to win the next games to guarantee ourselves to push on," Mulcahy stressed to the Limerick Leader.

"We won't get too carried away. It was good to get a win but at the same time, we know we now have to go to Cork with the same mentality."
