Dublin GAA's income rose by almost €1 million in 2019 thanks largely to increased sponsorship revenue.

Sponsorship income jumped by a whopping €791,856 to €2,170,250 this year, while overall income rose from €4,398,108 to €5,242,211. However, it wasn't all good news in the financial report which was presented to delegates at last night's annual convention in Parnell Park, with gate receipts for club games falling from €201,757 to €125,662.

The convention also saw vice-chairman Michael Seavers succeed Sean Shanley as chairman.
