With just one county final left to be played in 2018 - the Galway SHC decider between Liam Mellows and St Thomas' which is scheduled for next weekend - the provincial club championships are in full swing.

Gaelic football fans are in for a real treat on Sunday afternoon as there are no fewer than eight games from the big ball code on the fixtures programme. It features semi-finals in both the Connacht and Munster club SFCs, plus four Leinster club SFC quarter-final ties (all have 1.30pm throw-ins).

The Connacht club SFC pits the top two in the competition's roll of honour against each other with holders Corofin (eight titles) taking on Roscommon's Clann na Gael (seven titles) at Dr Hyde Park.

Following last weekend's routine victory over Moyle Rovers in Ardfinnan, Dr Crokes have earned themselves a home Munster club SFC semi-final clash with Cork champions St Finbarrs at Lewis Road.

The Meath-Dublin billing of Dunboyne and Kilmacud Crokes and the meeting of holders Moorefield versus Laois standard bearers Portlaoise are two very attractive Leinster club SFC quarter-final fixtures.

In hurling, Cushendall will be bidding to win the Ulster club SHC title for the second time in four years when they face Ballycran in Sunday's final at the Athletic Grounds (throw-in 3pm). The Ulster club IHC and JHC finals are also down for decision.
