Donal Og Cusack has called for a change in the colour of the sliotar.
The former Cork netminder was a pundit on RTE’s coverage of last night’s Division 1A clash between the Rebels and Clare in Pairc Ui Rinn.
When giving his reaction to a Tony Kelly point attempt that was waved wide, Cusack suggested a way of making life that little bit easier for umpires.
“The ball is the wrong colour, simple as that,” he commented.
“It needs to be a ball that can be seen. I know Croke Park are looking at it, but that change can’t come soon enough.”
