Kilkenny clubs have had their say on what is the best way forward for the club league/championships in the county.

A special forum was held for clubs to view their opinions on how to run the championships in 2019 with a number of motions being put forward.

One of the motions to receive strong backing was that two rounds of games be played in April and then a further one in May, which would be scheduled as a mid-week game.

All these suggestions will go forward to the county executive and discussed in the New Year where a decision will be made on how to proceed.

The Kilkenny People add that County Board secretary Conor Denieffe has put forward a motion to push the All-Ireland finals back to September.

This will be discussed at the annual convention which will be held in the GAA Convention centre on Monday night, December 17th.
