February 23, 2019

Fermanagh's Tom Clarke with Paddy Brophy of Kildare

Peter Kelly and Paddy Brophy will make their first starts of the year for Kildare against Clare in Newbridge tomorrow.

There is also a debut for Kilcock's Jason Gibbons at wing back as manager Cian O'Neill is forced into making five changes to the side that lost to Fermanagh a fortnight ago. Tommy Moolick and Jimmy Hyland are also drafted in as injury rules out Paul Cribbin, Kevin Flynn, Eoghan O'Flaherty, Conor Hartley, Chris Healy and David Slattery, who dislocated his shoulder in training this week.

Kildare (SF v Clare): Mark Donnellan; Mark Dempsey, Mick O'Grady, David Hyland; Jason Gibbons, Eoin Doyle, Peter Kelly; Kevin Feely, Tommy Moolick; Paddy Brophy, Fergal Conway, Keith Cribbin; Jimmy Hyland, Ben McCormack, Neil Flynn.
