Christmas may only be a week away, but the games continue to come thick and fast for Dr Crokes.
The Kerry and Munster football champions have had a hectic schedule of games recently and played twice in the weekend just past in the East Kerry SFC (O'Donoghue Cup). They followed up Friday night's 3-10 to 2-5 quarter-final victory over Gneeveguilla wtih a 1-17 to 2-11 semi-final defeat of Rathmore yesterday.
Crokes will now face Kilcummin in the final, which was has been scheduled for Fitzgerald Stadium next Saturday, just three days before Santa is due to arrive.
Barring a draw, the Killarney outfit will then be able to take a well-earned rest before turning their thoughts to an All-Ireland club SFC semi-final against surprise Leinster champions Mullinalaghta on February 16.
