Offaly manager John Maughan has confirmed his backroom team for the coming year.

The Mayo native takes the reins of the Faithful County after being a surprise appointment having been away from inter-county management for a long time.

However, Maughan is back in the fold and has been handed the task of lifting the fortunes of Offaly footballers with his first task being to appoint a backroom team to do just that.

Maughan has appointed Kevin Guing (Edenderry) and Gerry O’Malley (Ferbane) as his selectors, while Ballyboden St Enda’s clubman Mark Fee is the coach and ex-Cavan footballer Damien Sheridan is the strength and conditioning coach.

Declan Kelly will remain as Offaly under-20 football manager.
