A load of balls!

November 24, 2017

There was preliminary quarter-final action in the Leinster minor hurling championship.

When staff from the Aura Leisure Centre in Trim, Co. Meath recently went up on the roof of the building, they were surprised to find no fewer than 42 sliotars.

The hurling balls had accumulated there after clearing the ball-stopping nets behind the town end goal of the nearby St. Loman's Park, which is the home of Trim GAA. According to Aura, many of the sliotars have since been handed over to local hurling enthusiasts.
