Another chaotic display from Fermanagh today in Thurles. Similar to Cork in that had more than enough chances to have won the game, yet still lucky to get a point after errors made, 99 times out of 100 Treacy would catch that first ball, but its just our luck at the minute.
There is no doubt that Tipperarys last free to level wasnt a free, the ref was just evening things up after the controversial penalty award.

The way the division shaping up those missed opportunities could be very costly, the home games v Kildare and Clare look the most realistic chances to the get the 6 points needed.

There was some positives to take, Johnny Cassidy was very impressive again, thought James McMahon and Conal Jones had decent games. The team kept fighting despite things not going their way which always good to see.

Its clear we are struggling to score, 15 scores in 2 games so far,if want to win games need to be averaging 12/13 points per game. There is no doubt that our defensive set-up is contributing to this as again very slow in transition to attack, players have ball in own hall and no players ahead, which requires serious fitness levels from the players to get up the pitch to provide options, maybe few more players could be left ahead.
However this isnt the only factor, today Fermanagh kicked numerous wides and showed bad shot selection, really needs to be improved on to try punish teams when on top. So we had the opportunities just didnt take them. Our kick passing also needs worked on,dont understand why we not trying to use the mark more(i know limited target options),other teams are using it to their attacking advantage.

Tipperary were poor,Kildare will be a huge step up,hopefully Mickey Jones, Barry Mulrone and Ruairi Corrigan might be close to featuring in what is massive game before the break

Terrible game by two sides playing really poorly at the moment. Fermanagh had some terrible wides and shooting was as bad as you'll see. Tipp butchered two great goal chances which could have been crucial.

On the ref, I thought he was ok.....you'll always get some poor calls from where I was I felt fermanagh (midfielder I think) should have gotten a sin bin for clear pull back on a tipp break, tipp sin bin was correct call. Penalty was correct too. I think our free at the end was very very soft but I also feel for the goal chance your keeper made the save he was definitely outside the small square and touched it on the ground. All in all decisions did even themselves out.

Two very poor sides at the moment it looks, will be a struggle to stay up, I'd be 99% certain at least one of us will be division 3 next year

Hard fought battle but a good win that we deserved but christ the amount of wides we missed must be at or near double digits. Quigley looked knackered with 10 minutes left which is a concern as is our transition form defence to attack. We're so deep that when we do get the ball there is nobody to pass it to. Thought Corrigan had a v good game.

A great spirited and battling performance which deserved a win for the players efforts alone and in typical Fermanagh style made it harder than could have been. Victory even greater having lost captain Eoin Donnelly who had started so well.

As in previous games, some really bad wides, with goal chances missed too by Breen and Kelm(who did well but looks very nervous still on ball), thankfully didnt come back to haunt us like have in previous games. However looking forward really need to increase shots to scoring ratio if want to secure position in Division.

Started the game well, with scores from Conal Jones and Quigley coming from quick kick passing into forwards, which need to try more. Defence was immense, whole team were excellent in position and work rate, hard to watch, purists wont like it but its results game now and when you see Sean Quigleys block and teams reaction at the end, those who ask"are they enjoying it" dont need to ask again.

As mentioned previous and by other posters too,the current style is highly effective defensively but when we turn over ball in half backline,we have no forward option which causes own problem, also requires serious fitness levels for players to push up and reset from play to play.

A massive two points against a decent Kildare team but with way division going and with other fixtures reality meant this was a must win game, so well done lads
Ciaran Corrigan was man of the man, tireless, was everywhere on pitch and drove team forward with his speed.
Not sure why Eoin Donnelly went off but with two weeks until Donegal game hopefully he and few others(Mulrone, Ruairi Corrigan,Flaherty and O Callaghan will be fit, plus Che Cullen available)

Great result. Our defence was brillant.
Ciaran Corrigan was everywhere man of the match, still need to leave more bodies in the forward line. Bring on donegal.

Looking at the league table is it possible that Fermanagh could be promoted to division one? If it were to happen and Tyrone were demoted that would be taken bably by the redhanders! I would like to hear what others have to say, even fair-weather supporter macca999?

So you are asking can a team, that sits joint top of the league, still be promoted ... well ahem yes ofcourse but if you were to ask are they likely to I'd say ahem NO... but I see us being safely in Div 2 next year and finishing on 8 points !... you heard it here first

Definitely not fit for division 1 and time will tell if we are fit for Division 2 either. If we can keep our place in this Division it would be a mighty achievement by players and management. If all supporters get behind them, this more realistic goal can be achieved. The positive attacking play against Kildare gives great hope that we are going in the right direction.

If Fermanagh were promoted that would be a massive result given that their performance in the league so far has been questionable. However, I do believe that the killing off the Kildare challenge has boosted the team's confidence and should set them in a good place to take points from the Donegal game this Sunday. If they succeed then I would have high hopes of them finishing well in the league. I feel the absence of key players like Barry Mulrone who is taking time out for family reasons. is a big lost to Fermanagh. Should the Corrigans return that should make a massive difference. I think Sean Quigley is performing well so far and Ciaran Corrigan has made a major impact especially in the Kildare game. Let us keep or fingers crossed that Sunday goes well for the team.

Another return trip to the hills for Rory this weekend, we will get nothing easy hear despite some mumblings about Donegals "hoodoo" in Letterkenny.

After their poor result in Thurles, Donegal will be well pumped without the Rory factor, this has became a crucial game for them
Fermanagh should be high on confidence coming into this game after good win against Kildare, however we will get a sterner test v Donegal. Donegal have ability to shoot from distance which can overcome a defensive system.

Lets hope Eoin Donnelly is 100% fit to start after injury in last game. Its crucial we get a good start and dont let Donegal into a early lead. Sean Quigley should be even sharper and his dead ball abilities will be crucial for Fermanagh to get result in this game. Our defensive set-up has worked very well, but we will need to be alot more clinical in attack to have a chance of getting a result on Sunday(likely get less opportunities than previous games). Be a boost to have Che Cullen and Ruairi Corrigan involved.

The table looked good going into the break but anyone with G.A.A nous knows that way this Division is shaping up can all change on Sunday, with every team capable of winning( Tipp and Clares result in week 3 showed that), results to date mean may need 7 points to stay up and with away games in Armagh and Meath after sunday,im sure most be happy with staying in Division 2.

Lets hope for a good positive game,im sure be a good Fermanagh support out to support the lads again.

This match almost feels like a final. I'd love if you won and also if Meath and Fermanagh competed in the final. Our last round fixture is looking like it will have a lot at stake.
