Galway manager Padraic Joyce has handed Corofin midfielder Ronan Steede his first Allianz League start against Kerry at Austin Stack Park on Saturday.

Man-of-the-match in his club's most recent All-Ireland SFC final success, Steede replaces the returning Paul Conroy in the middle sector.

The Tribesmen's attack has been bolstered by the addition of Eamonn Brannigan and Damien Comer to the half-forward line ahead of the visit to Tralee.

Michael Boyle and Adrian Varley are the others to lose out from the one-point win over Monaghan.
