Farrell to lead Na Fianna

Dessie Farrell will manage Na Fianna’s senior footballers in 2019, according to a report from The Evening Herald.
The former Dublin U21 and minor All-Ireland winning boss succeeds Philip McElwee at the club where he won three senior championship titles as a player.
Na Fianna are still awaiting their first Dublin SFC crown since 2001 but have shown plenty of promise at underage level in recent years, winning minor championships in 2014 and 2017 and three U21 titles in a row between 2011 and 2013.
It is understood that Farrell will have fellow clubman and former Dublin team mate Senan Connell in his backroom team.
