Cork manager Ronan McCarthy has named championship debutant Sam Ryan at corner-back for Saturday's Munster SFC decider against Kerry in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Ryan comes in at the expense of Colm O'Neill whose participation in the impressive semi-final win over Tipperary was brought to a premature end due to a cartilage injury.

O'Neill has been deemed fit enough to take his place on the bench but Sean Powter is, once again, absent from the 26-man squad.
