Cavan GAA have confirmed that Mickey Graham is their new senior football manager.

The Cavan Gaels clubman was officially ratified as Mattie McGleenan's successor at a County Board meeting last night.

A former Cavan minor manager, Graham enjoyed success at club level in his native county with Butlersbridge and Drumalee, leading them to junior and intermediate championships respectively. He also led Mullinalaghta St Columba's to back-to-back Longford SFCs in 2016 and 2017.

Graham, who won an Ulster SFC medal with Cavan in 1997, was selected as new Breffni boss ahead of Ramor United manager Micheal McDermott and Armagh's Aidan O'Rourke.

His former county team-mate Dermot McCabe will be part of the new-look backroom team alongside Monaghan's Martin Corey.
