Mayo's injury list grew longer after Sunday's clash against Tyrone and the major concern is over former Footballer of the Year Lee Keegan.

The Connacht side suffered a 12-point drubbing at the hands of Tyrone in MacHale Park, but that only tells half the story as Keegan and Cillian O'Connor were forced off through injury.

The full extent of the injuries will be known this week, but Mayo manager Stephen Rochford admitted that they were particularly concerned over Keegan's shoulder injury.

"It's unclear at this moment in time, but it didn't look good anyway. That's really disappointing and that just compounds what was a poor performance, losing another of those frontline players," said Rochford.

The Mayo manager must now gather his troops for what will be a tricky last game away to Donegal where the Westerners need something from the clash to avoid relegation.

"Attention is certainly on Donegal next week and getting two points. I don't think too many teams have got a victory in Ballybofey over the last four or five years.

"It's a massive, massive game; it's a league final in essence. You know the character within the group is going to be in the spotlight again this week."
