A community group in Armagh claims that fans attending Saturday's Dr McKenna Cup final left householders unable to get off their own driveways.

The clash between Tyrone and Donegal was hosted in the Athletic Grounds and The West Armagh Consortium says it was inundated with complaints afterwards due to the inconsiderate parking of GAA supporters.

According to The Irish News, the group claims residents of St Patrick's Park were trapped at home as fans had "parked at the entrance of their driveways".

WAC stated their intention of bringing the matter to the police: "A lady pushing a pram had to walk on the main road for over 100 yards because the footpath was totally blocked. Cars also blocked the traffic lights beside the Spar shop on the Killylea Road.

"West Armagh Consortium will be bringing these complaints to both the PSNI and Armagh County Board because it is totally unacceptable."
