The hurling leagues hit round three and this usually sees the promotion hopefuls separated from the relegation battlers.

Last night, Tipperary ended Wexford's unbeaten run in the NHL, while in 1B Limerick continued their impressive form with a comfortable win over Dublin.

Also in 1B, Laois had a massive win over Antrim which could well secure their status in the division next year. In 2A, Westmeath came out on top in the battle of the neighbours against Meath by a minimum margin and they maintain their unbeaten run.

We turned our attention to this afternoon and the league has a totally different picture by this evening. There were games in all divisions throughout the day.
