Goals from Slaughtneil duo Meehaul McGrath and Se McGuigan helped to steer Derry to safety in today's Allianz HL Division 2B relegation play-off.
The Oak Leafers got the better of Armagh on a scoreline of 2-22 to 0-10 in Ballyshannon to preserve their 2B status.
McGrath raised a green flag in the opening period and the winners held a seven point advantage at the break - 1-9 to 0-5.
They refused to ease their foot off the gas in the second-half and full-forward McGuigan's goal boosted them to a convincing 18 point success.
