Kerry look set to be without key defender Jason Foley for the majority of their Allianz Football League campaign.

Radio Kerry reports this morning that the Ballydonogue man is believed to have damaged ankle ligaments in training recently that could rule him out of action for up to eight weeks.

The Kingdom are set to open their Division 1 campaign on Sunday week against Mickey Harte’s Tyrone in Killarney.
