Mullinalaghta's Conor and Donal McElligott celebrate after the game

Newly crowned Leinster club champions Mullinalaghta are set to appear on The Late Late Show tomorrow night.

The Longford side have been the talk of the country since upsetting Dublin’s Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday in Tullamore to land their county’s first provincial senior title.

Because of production reasons tomorrow night’s show has been pre-recorded and the Irish Independent reports today that the majority of the team were present at RTE studios to show off their county and provincial trophies and answer questions from host Ryan Tubridy.

The show is set to see interviews with manager Mickey Graham, team captain Shane Mulligan and John Keegan while Jayson Matthews will perform a rendition of the song he sang in the dressing room at O'Connor Park after Sunday's historic victory.

It is understood that Graham’s squad will also be guests of honour at the RTE Sports Awards on Saturday evening.
