Waterford will play all four of their Munster SHC round-robin fixtures away from home but selector Eoin Murphy isn't complaining.

Last year's beaten All-Ireland finalists open their account against Clare in Ennis on Sunday before facing Tipperary and Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds, then Cork in Thurles on successive Sundays. A daunting challenge but one they are embracing:

"It's a great challenge for us travelling away. Going up to places like Ennis and Limerick, there's something exciting about it," Murphy enthuses in The Waterford News & Star.

"Going in as underdogs, knowing that the majority of the crowd is against you and trying to overturn the home team is a challenge that we're honed in on and something that this group won't shy away from either.

"It's a cauldron up there [in Ennis]. The crowd definitely seems to be a bit closer to the pitch than some of the bigger stadiums. It's probably the perfect place for a championship match. They're really in on top of you. It's going to be a great occasion."
