Carlow hurlers in need of 'serious financial help'

Carlow hurler Paul Coady believes substantial investment is needed to help his county to bridge the gap with the leading hurling powers.

The Mount Leinster Rangers clubman has taken to Twitter to vent his frustration with the challenges facing counties like Carlow. The Barrowsiders will return to the Joe McDonagh Cup in 2020 after losing all four of their games in the Leinster SHC round-robin series, one of which was to 2017 All-Ireland champions Galway by only six points.
