Kieran Donaghy and Tommy Walsh will be keeping their fingers crossed that they won’t suffer any flight delays next weekend.

The ‘Twin Towers’, along with Donaghy's Austin Stacks team-mate John Dennis, are travelling to Portugal this week to attend the wedding of Kieran’s brother, Conor, on Friday. With Stacks facing Dingle and Walsh's Kerins O’Rahilly’s taking on St Brendan's in the Kerry SFC quarter-finals on Saturday, however, they will have to catch a flight back home the next morning to play in the double-header in Tralee.

Former AFL player Walsh, who formed a powerful attacking partnership with Donaghy when Kerry won the All-Ireland in 2009, scored 2-2 in O'Rahilly's defeat of champions Dr Crokes in the last round.

Meanwhile, Kerry defender Mark Griffin will miss South Kerry’s SFC quarter-final against East Kerry next Sunday as he’s currently in Australia.
