Paddy McBrearty is back in Ireland and could make an appearance for Donegal in Sunday’s Division One clash with Meath in Navan.

The Kilcar attacker missed the Ulster champions’ league opener against Mayo on Saturday night as he was in the States, but he returned home yesterday and manager Declan Bonner hinted that the All-Ireland winner could play a part against the Royals this weekend.

Niall O’Donnell is back training, while Donegal have fresh injury concerns over Ryan McHugh, Caolan McGonagle and Neil McGee, all of whom picked up knocks against Mayo.
