Cora Staunton has thanked friends and fans for their support and help over the past 48 hours after suffering a double leg break.
The ex-Mayo star sustained the devastating injury whilst on Aussie Rules duty for UNSW-ES Bulldogs against Macquarie University on Saturday.
The 37-year-old now faces a long road to recovery but hopes it’s “only another challenge”.
