The Late Finbarr Murray
The untimely death of Finbarr Murray from Ballard, Araglin came as a great shock to the entire community.
Finbarr was a talented player who had a very distinguished juvenile career. His father, Padraig is a long time supporter of the GAA club's draw as well as being a keen advocate of the Irish language. The club extends condolences to the Murray family during this very difficult time.
As a mark of respect the division 3 hurling game fixed for Araglin was called off. We acknowledge the role of Killavullen GAA Club and fixtures secretary Paddy Ryan in facilitation this postponement.
