All Corkonians must have been saddened to hear of the passing of Johnny Clifford. A minor prodigy he went on to score the winning goal against Wexford in the '54 All-Ireland senior hurling final. He managed Cork to the '86 All-Ireland, defeating Galway in the final. kevin Hennessy scored two goals that day.
